What is does the “new normal” have in store for sport? This is the question on many a lip and something we are struggling to come to terms with post COVID-19.

In the year 2020, the world was changed instantly as people sheltered in their homes, events were cancelled, moved online or played out in empty stadiums. Events such as the CrossFit Games scaled down into the boxes or garage gyms, while football league finals played out in empty stadiums and deafening silence.

We are slowly seeing small groups of fans making their way back into these arenas, but the pandemic has had a lasting effect on the sporting landscape and we can only wait to see what our future holds. Here’s hoping.
