FIELD TEST RATIONALE
The Navy’s Sea, Air and Land Teams ā aka the Navy SEALs ā an elite military branch, and one of the toughest, most hard working fighting outfits in existence today.
This Field Test introduces the fitness benchmark used by the U.S. Navy when scouting potential SEAL recruits. Meeting the Navy SEAL physical requirements is challenging, and passing the test is mandatory if you want to join the SEALs.
However, don’t assume making the minimum standard on the Navy SEALs fitness test is enough, becoming a SEAL is a competitive process; if you scrape by at the minimum, you might lose out to someone who outperforms you.
To successfully complete the SEAL Field Test, you will need to perform the above movements as prescribed, with the allotted rest time, in one testing session.
